Kate approached me to design a logo to give her growing gardening business a visual identity. The logo was going to be printed on polo shirts and used on her website and marketing leaflets. Kate is very passionate about the benefits to mental health of both gardening and having a beautiful collection of plants, flowers and trees to look at and wanted a minimalist design that would convey an overall sense of calm.
The circular shape gives a sense of unity and harmony, while the dandelion evokes hope, joy and good health.

*July 2024 Update*
I am proud to share that Design Rush listed this logo as one of the Best Floral Logo Designs of 2024. This is what they wrote about it:

"Standout Features:
- Elegant circular frame
- Nature-inspired color palette
- Subtle and meaningful iconography
The Mindful Gardener's logo design by Celia Couchot stands out for its elegant and balanced composition. The thin sans-serif typography adds a delicate touch, while the circular frame containing the text and icon communicates harmony and completeness.
A carefully curated color palette of green, white, and purple creates a soothing and organic look. According to color psychology, greens evoke growth, renewal, and nature – elements intrinsic to gardening. On the other hand, purple underscores the brand’s commitment to mental health and nature’s healing power.
The wishful dandelion icon perfectly symbolizes new beginnings and transformation. Its simplicity keeps the logo clean and instantly recognizable. This approach reinforces the brand’s mission to use gardening as a source of mindfulness and emotional well-being."
